A Hot Date

I have a hot date tonight! 

It's with my book character, Xave.  Lol I know it's a little pathetic.  But I've been working till 2 a.m. lately and haven't written in a week.  I miss the story and am excited to get back to it.  Especially since that's the only way I've experienced romance lately.  Oh well, he is better than real-life men because he doesn't ever annoy me. 

I prefer to write at night.  It seems more private, I guess.  It also makes me less self-conscious.  In the day, I get too critical.  While writing, I give myself a pass to suck.  If I didn't, I would freeze up and never think anything was good enough to put down.  I just know that I will edit later.  That keeps my words flowing.

On a side note: Harry Potter marathon is on this weekend.  I would watch it if the commercials didn't make the movies four hours long.  I do have it on in the background though.  It just caught my attention because clips are playing from HP and the DH Part II.  Voldemort was holding Harry's face (like squishing his mouth) and said, "Why do you live?" Harry replied, "Because I have something worth living for."

It was probably supposed to be an intense scene but it came across a bit comical.  Harry mumbled it through his squished mouth. 

Hmmm, I smell my peanut butter cookies in the oven.
